26 Sep 20091. Open the image with Adobe Photoshop. Again, I’m using Adobe Photoshop CS2 (It’s faster than the higher versions).
2. Go to Images>Duplicate or simply press CTRL+J on your keyboards to duplicate the image.

Notice a new layer was created on the LAYERS tab.

3. Go to Filter>Blur>Gaussian Blur

Notice a pop-up window as shown below. I used 3.0 in the Radius setting but depending on the resolution and size of the image you might want to add or subtract the pixel of the Radius.

4. Finally, Go to Layer>Layer Style>Blending Options or simply click on the arrow shown in the screenshot below. I decided to use SOFT LIGHT on this particular image. You might also want to experiment which is better amongst OVERLAY, SOFT LIGHT and HARD LIGHT. It just depends on your taste! ![]()

For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. (Ephesians 2:8-9, ESV)
