How To Install Photoshop Brushes

12 Oct 2009Well, maybe some of you already know the hows in this one but for the sake of the noobs, I’ll post this anyway.
There’s a lot of Adobe downloads out there including Adobe Photoshop Brushes. So if you have downloaded one, here’s how to install it.
* Adobe brushes has an extension name of .abr and has a logo like the one below.
Now, paste the *.abr file/s into:
Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop X\Presets\Brushes
where X is the version number of the installed version of your Adobe Photoshop.
* Brushes created in Photoshop 7 or later will not work in earlier versions of Photoshop. Any Photoshop brushes should work in Photoshop 7 and later.
